The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock, Portrait of a Lady and The Waste Land. Inspired by Eliot’s great musical sensibility, three of Eliot’s major poems are interlaced with music of Ravel, Stravinsky, Milhaud, Wagner, Chopin and improvisational harmonica solos of Chris Turner.

Adding movement to the mix, Aurea taps into the heart of Latin and Spanish culture, fusing eurythmy movement, the poetry of Jimenez, Neruda, Lorca and
Rosalia Del Castro with music of Turina, Granados, Montsalvatge, Ginastera and
De Falla.

Ecstasies Above
Saturday, June 6, 8PM, Providence and Sunday, June 7, 3PM Immaculate Conception Church, Cranston. Honoring the music of award winning, young,
British composer Tarik O’Reagan, Aurea will collaborate with the Providence Singers in two performances of this program, which includes a world premiere.
